Qiuyu came down the mountain. After eighteen years of staying there, he finally made it. If not for the old master taking a job and feeling that only he was suitable, he wouldn't have come down so soon. Although Qiuyu passed all the skill tests, the old master always said that there are people outside people and heavens above heavens. With his three-legged cat kung fu, superficial medicine, and clumsy thievery, he still fell far short. The old master told him to practice for another twenty years before he was qualified to come down the mountain.

Damn it, I'm eighteen years old and still a male. Now even a single person is out of sight. If I practice hard for another twenty years, my precious youth will be wasted. What's the point of living?

Autumn Feather cursed the old man in her heart. She had already made up her mind: if he didn't let her go down the mountain, she would run away herself. But that would be very dangerous; she estimated she wouldn't escape the old man's clutches and would inevitably get a severe beating if caught. Luckily, an opportunity arose. This deal appeared like a timely rain, filling her with excitement.

Under a moonlit and star-studded night, Qiu Yu, who had traveled arduously to arrive in Jiang City, stepped out of the train station. He was of average build and his appearance was unremarkable at best, merely handsome enough to be considered decent looking. His eyes, however, were bright and piercing, especially when he focused on something, giving him an air of intensity. There wasn't anything else particularly special about him; he could easily blend into the crowd and go unnoticed.

Autumn Yu wore a deep blue, cross-collared tunic and matching black cloth round-toe shoes. The journey had been rough, leaving both his clothes and shoes dusty. He carried a green canvas bag from the 1970s, with an iron canister attached to its handle. The canister was painted with "Agricultural University DaZhai" which made him look old-fashioned and rustic, giving off the impression of a peasant worker or a drifter.

The city was bustling with life, the train station lights bright and a constant stream of people flowing in and out. Qiu Yu Xing gazed around for a moment before stopping at the station exit, opening his canvas bag, and pulling out a cardboard sign. He held it high, displaying two crooked characters written by his own hand: “Qiu Yu,” his name proudly displayed for all to see.

There are taxi drivers at the exit who don't pick up passengers, and some people who don't look very reputable. They all work for small hotels to attract customers.

A woman in her thirties, heavily made up, walked over and stopped by Qiu Yu's side. She was wearing a dress, but one hand went into the collar, presenting a very unrestrained posture. In a coquettish voice, she asked: "Big brother, are you staying here?"

The smell of cheap, nasty perfume wafted over, making Qiu Yu's nose wrinkle. Even without much experience, he could tell by instinct that the person wasn't a good one. He shook his head, "I won't stay…"

"The child stubbornly retorted, 'There's still a mat!'"

Autumn Feather wondered, "Isn't that a waste of words? Of course an inn has mattresses. What else would they use?"

But his next words only made him more confusing. “...”

I've heard of zongzi, but I've never heard of a 'ruzi'. Suddenly, Qiu Yu thought of something and asked with a smile, "What is that?"

One guy threw me a look and said, "Of course it's good stuff. A girl of seventeen or eighteen, fresh as a daisy, will be your cushion, guaranteed to make you comfortable. Come on, follow big sister, it's not far, just around the corner..."

At this time, on a nearby street, a deep blue BMW sedan with bright headlights drove over and stopped near the exit. There were two people inside, both exceptionally handsome, looking to be around twenty or twenty-one years old.

The driver, Lin Xueshan, is a department manager at a large company. She has a melon-seed face, beautiful features, eyes like autumn water, and jet-black hair with slight waves cascading down her snowy shoulders. Her slender figure is clad in a black dress that cinches at the waist, revealing an incredibly tiny waist—a true hourglass figure. Her bust is high and full, and flowing downwards are two long legs, smooth and white as mutton fat jade.

The co-pilot, Zhou Xiaolei, was a community police officer with bright, large eyes and long eyelashes that seemed to speak. She wore a white short-sleeved shirt that accentuated her figure, making her even more attractive. The shirt fit perfectly, highlighting her well-developed chest. She paired it with denim shorts that were no less stylish.

The second is Gao Tongxue, an absolute best friend. Zhou Xiaolei came specifically to pick up her good friends. The two of them are not only beautiful but also incredibly talented, they are top-notch.

After the car stopped, they both turned their heads to look at the exit simultaneously. At this time, most of the passengers who had boarded the train were gone, leaving only a handful. Soon, their eyes locked onto Qiu Yu, who was talking to someone with heavy makeup, and they also saw the cardboard sign in his hand.

"My God, no way! That farmhand-looking kid is Qiu Yu? The one you're supposed to pick up?" Zhou Xiaolei was completely shocked and stunned.

Lin Xueshan's beautiful brows furrowed, equally surprised. "I don't know either. Dad never mentioned this super bodyguard would be him. He's too young and looks very ordinary. I guess he won't have much ability."

Zhou Xiaolei chuckled, "He thinks his little bodyguard can protect me? I could take him down with three punches and two kicks. I wonder what Uncle Lin was thinking, finding such a pathetic bodyguard for Xiaolan."

Lin Xueshan wryly smiled, “Xia Lan wouldn’t have agreed to my father getting me a bodyguard in the first place. Bringing another one, someone like this blind kid, she would definitely object. Ah…”

A soft sigh escaped him, unspoken yet full of meaning. That Qiu Yu was so ordinary and cliché, such a bodyguard would be an embarrassment to take out in public. Who would want him? Especially with Xia Lan being so youthful, how could she possibly accept having this kid trailing behind her?

"Well... we don't need him. 100,000 yuan a month? At that price, you could hire any bodyguard. At the very least, someone who can fight and is handsome." Zhou Xiaolei gave her friend some advice.

Lin Xueshan shook her head. "No way, my dad's set on him. He said this kid has a big background and that my dad only got him through connections."

Zhou Xiaolei's eyes flashed, "I have a good idea. Let's make him retreat in disgrace."

Lin Xuēshān busily asked, "What's a good idea?"

Zhou Xiaolei leaned in and whispered a few words in her friend's ear. The latter's face broke into a smile, nodding repeatedly.

"Okay, you've got a point. No wonder you're a policeman, you really know how to get things done." Lin XueShan praised.

Zhou Xiaolei smiled and said, "It's a small matter, just wait and see."

Having done a rough calculation, Qiu Yu had already been at the station for ten minutes and the person in charge of picking him up hadn't arrived yet. This made him feel very annoyed, like he was being looked down upon. He didn't want to wait any longer. He said to that child, "Let's go, I'll stay with you at the inn. But listen carefully, we are only staying for lodging, not for that special mattress."

Seeing the young man agree to stay at the inn, she was overjoyed. Her eyes lit up with a smile as she readily responded, "Alright, you decide how you want to live, let's go then."

Autumn Feather agreed with a nod, tucked the cardboard sign into her canvas bag, and followed the crowd westward. Since no one was picking up their child, they should find a shop to stay at first. Thinking about the special services in the small inn, he felt a surge of excitement. If there were really beautiful people doing the bedding, he'd like to see them. At least he would know what humans are like! Oh well, I've lived so long for nothing!

The two men who were supposed to meet the car's owner were led away, leaving both of them surprised. Zhou Xiaolei hurriedly asked, "What happened? That boy left with someone else."

Lin Xueshan was also at a loss. She hurriedly said, "I don't know, let's get off the car and take a look..."
