'Dream epiphany
It may seem unbelievable to say that people can invent and create things in their dreams, but in fact there are many such examples that have helped many scientists solve outstanding problems.
American technician Eliaqi Hao wanted to build a machine to sew clothes, but during the trial production process, the test was not successful because the thread worn in the eye of the eye always broke. One day, he had a nightmare: he was tied to a wooden stake, and a group of Africans with spears surrounded him, singing and dancing, sometimes pointing the tip of the spear at him. At this time, he found that there was a small hole in the tip of each spear.
When he woke up the next day, he connected what he saw in his dream with the experiment and thought. It suddenly dawned on him that the position of the needle of the needle should be placed on the tip of the needle. The problem was solved and the sewing machine was successfully born.
Edison once said the famous saying,'I have dreamed all my life that I am inventing.' Newton often discovered something in his dreams. Descartes dreamed of combining mathematics and philosophy, and as a result, he created a new discipline. Rokonov's research has been unable to achieve breakthroughs for a long time, but in his dream he invented the wax cylinder of the phonograph.
Regarding why inventions and creations can be achieved in dreams, some scholars believe that there are mainly the following four factors:
(1) Scientists have carried out quite sufficient long-term and arduous research on a certain problem. They have stored a large amount of information needed to solve the problem in their minds, and have entered a situation where 'everything is ready, but only the east wind is needed.'
(2) Scientists have formed a dominant excitement center for problem solving in the cerebral cortex. Dreaming is the continuation and development of the superior excitement center. In other words, in sleep, high-level neural activity in a certain area that is not produced during the day will continue in another way during sleep. Therefore, sleeping and dreaming became a transformation after scientific research during the day.
(3) Scientists 'peculiar way of thinking. Because scientists 'understanding and generalization level greatly exceed that of ordinary people, they can be inspired and inspired by dreams, and follow the thinking trajectory of dreams, and it is easy to find breakthroughs in scientific research.
(4) Scientists have consciously carried out the process of refining and deepening dreams by 'removing the rough and selecting the essence, removing the false and retaining the true, from this to that, and from the outside to the inside.' It is precisely because scientists have adopted a scientific attitude of 'sublation' towards dreams, not following dreams, but transcending realms, that they have achieved success with the help of dreams.
Therefore, dream epiphany is scientifically based and is not the 'help of gods' that people think.
